Building Permits & Home Safety Open House

6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Get advice from experts on your home improvement projects! Come talk with our planning, building, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, public works, and fire safety experts about your home remodeling or home business ideas. We’ll look at your plans if you have them, answer your questions, and offer tips to save you time and money, and to make your home safer. Representatives from PG&E, Environmental Services Department, Office of Emergency Management, and the Santa Clara Valley Water District will also be on hand. Find out if you live in a flood zone; how you can save energy and water, obtain rebates, and more!
And bring the kids! Our fire engine and Sharks mascot will be at the Rotunda. Kids can get a plastic hard hat, activity kit, junior inspector badge, and more.
