Learn More About The Etch and Protect Initiative!
In partnership with the SJPD Foundation, SJPD launched the Nguyen Etch and Protect initiative, a free program available through local auto repair shops to engrave identifying information onto catalytic converters.
This program will help law enforcement deter and combat the persistent issue of theft and illegal resale of these valuable car parts. Appointments can be made at any of the participating mechanics below.
