The City of San Jose Anti-Graffiti and Anti-Litter Programs would like to invite everyone to participate in the upcoming American Litter Pickup Event scheduled for
Saturday, April 21st, 2018 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
BVNA will be hosting neighborhood cleanup, with volunteers meeting at Buena Vista Park.
All supplied (gloves, garbage bags, pick-up sticks, and safety vests) will be provided, children should be accompanied by an adult.
Volunteers should dress in layers and should have comfortable closed toed walking shoes and a water bottle (there is a place at Buena Vista Park where water bottles can be refilled).
Teams will head out from the park throughout the neighborhood collecting garbage as they make their way back to the park where the bags will be stacked for collection by the City.
If you have or know of students that need to do community service hours, this is a great oppertunityh to earn credit for the hours.
