It was amazing weather for the 20 or so volunteers who came out this morning to participate in the Great American Litter Pickup for Earth day and collectively we removed hundreds of pounds of trash from our sidewalks and streets.
Thank you to everyone who came by and helped out, we appreciate your continued support and your hard work is noticed!
Today’s interesting finds included Tom Hanks DVDs, laundry baskets, Christmas ornaments, and even a computer monitor.
To that point, please remember that the City offers free unlimited curbside large item disposal for everything from furniture (tables, chairs) to appliances and televisions. Pickup of items is typically on your next garbage day!
