The City of San Jose Mayor's Office invites a representative from your organization to join an important conversation being led by the City Manager’s Office about personal privacy in the digital age.
The City is developing “Privacy Principles” that seek to find a balance between the utility of data collected throughout the City and the privacy concerns of residents. The City wishes to better understand public awareness of personal privacy issues, and specific privacy concerns that the City’s Privacy Principles should address.
Please join us for a Digital Privacy Workshop on December 4 from 11am-2pm at the San Jose Public Library in the “SJPL Works” room. This interactive workshop will be sponsored by the City Manager’s Office and facilitated by CivicMakers, LLC, a Consultant to the City helping to gather input from external stakeholders.
We welcome your participation as a community leader in this process, and hope you can join us. Please RSVP by emailing Liam Crawford (Cced) at liam.crawford@sanjoseca.gov by Monday, December 3. Additional details will be provided following confirmation of your attendance.
Thank you,
Vicki
