San José Public Library's FFN Caregiver Support Network

BVNA

The City of San Jose, Public Libraries are proud to announce that we are launching the Family, Friend, and Neighbor (FFN) Caregiver Support Network in January 2021.  The program is six months long and will run through June 2021.  FFNs are license-exempt caregivers who care for children age 0-8, including grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, babysitters, nannies, etc. The completely free FFN Caregiver Support Network includes:

  • computer and internet training

  • free devices and hotspots

  • health/safety training and supplies

  • First Aid and CPR certification

  • child development workshops

  • early learning training and supplies

  • one-on-one support

  • access to a community of other caregivers

Program participants will have the opportunity to choose and engage in activities specific to their needs.  We are honored and excited to serve local FFNs in partnership with FIRST 5.

Interested caregivers can call (408.808.2108) or email (earlyeducation@sjlibrary.org) to join the interest list and receive more information about the program. I have attached flyers to this message.  Please let me know if you have questions and thank you for your time and support!
