Today, San Jose announced the unanimous appointment of Shivaun Nurre as San José’s new Independent Police Auditor. With more than a decade serving in the Office of the Independent Police Auditor, including three stints as the acting IPA, Shivaun brings a wealth of experience, institutional memory and relationships with our local community that will serve her well in this role.
