Volunteer next Saturday and Watch the Future Grow!

BVNA

Oaks are beautiful trees! Help is needed to ensure the survival of the Blue Oak Savanna at Guadalupe Oak Grove park. We'll be doing some landscaping work, plus caging the small oaks so they grow into big, mighty oaks. Come learn a bit about our environmental history while shaping the future!


Date: Saturday, July 21, 2018

Time: 8:45 AM to 12:00 noon

Place: Guadalupe Oak Grove Park (South San Jose)

Address: Thorntree Drive, between McAbee and Sterling Oaks Drive

Parking: Please park on the surrounding residential streets

Bring a friend or meet new ones! Volunteering is a great way to expand your knowledge and meet others that share similar interests!

Teens--earn community service hours!

Families are welcome!

A new "Friends of Guadalupe Oak Grove Park" is also forming. Please let us know if you'd be interested in joining this group that will continue the work to preserve the Blue Oak Savanna!

Please wear closed-toe shoes

Bring a filled water bottle A hat and sunscreen are suggested

All tools and supplies will be provided
